Hello new blog!
Having failed miserably with my last blog, I decided to start over. New blog, same topic: everything I read, before, during and after (hopefully). This means that every single book - or most of them, but preferably all of them - that I read, I will review or just talk about them and what I think about them.
Occasionally the odd film may creep on in, mainly old sci-fi movies and film adaptations of novels, terrible or not and a few plays.
So, if there is anyone following this at all, feel free to recommend me a book to read and review if you can’t quite be bothered to do it yourself. I have a large stack of books to get through at the moment so this blog should remain going for longer than the last.
I hope you enjoy my mild ranting and effusing about various books, films and adaptations, possibly also slight grumpiness over lack of availability of certain titles and covers, but overall I shall try to be humorous and informative and I will try to put pictures up too.
By the way, for those interested, Anobium Punctatum is the scientific name for the bookworm in the blog name, and the fodder named is what bookworms eat: books.
Reading is something I really enjoy. Last year I read two books by Sapkowski, the first being named the Last Wish and the second Blood of Elves. I really enjoyed these books, and although they are fairly popular in Europe I would love it if you would do a review post of one or both of them in the Witcher saga.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your future posts.
If I remember correctly the Blood of Elves received the David Gemmel Award for Fantasy, and has been on my reading list for a while. I shall find it and read it and review it (like I need another escuse to buy more books!) That should be up soon, once I have read it (a couple of weeks at most.
